Bert Van Landeghem is a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at the University of Maastricht and is also affiliated to LICOS Centre for Institutions and Economic Performance at the University of Leuven. He pursued his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Leuven, and visited the University of Southampton as an ERASMUS student and the University of Warwick as a researcher. From October 2005 to April 2010, he was employed as an assistant at LICOS where he had both research and teaching assistance duties. His main areas of interest are applied microeconometrics, rural land and credit markets, subjective well-being and active labour market policies.
