Ahmed Elsayed Mohamed (Ahmed Shahen) is a PhD student at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), Maastricht University. He holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Zagazig University (Egypt) and a Master degree in Business Research from Maastricht University. Before starting his PhD at ROA, he spent one year working there as a research assistant under the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) assistantship program.
His main research interests are in human resource management and behavioral economics. His current research focuses on part time employment and human capital development.
