Jan Sauermann is
PhD-student at the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market
(ROA), Maastricht University. He holds a Diploma in Economics from Mannheim
University where he graduated in 2004. Before joining ROA, he worked at the
Halle
Institute for Economic Research as research associate.
His research focuses on labour economics and applied micro-econometrics. He
is interested in topics such as the effects of further training on
productivity, peer effects in the workplace, and learning-on-the-job. In
his research, he uses econometric and experimental methods.
