MetalektroThe report summarizes the findings and developments of the sector of the 'Metalektro' sector of the last year. read more >> POAThe Education and Labour Market Project is a very important research project within the Dynamics of the Labour Market programme. This project focuses in particular on the match between education and occupation, the substitution processes in the labour market, and the labour market perspectives for more than 100 educational programmes and occupations. Based on a wide variety of data, the forecasts are differentiated by education and occupation. These forecasts take medium-term developments of employment, replacement demand, and the influx of school-leavers into the labour market into account. The results of this project are published every other year in a report entitled The Labour Market by Education and Occupation. The Education and Labour Market Project (POA) is funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science (OCW), the Institute for Employee Benefit Schemes (UWV), the UWV Werkbedrijf (formerly: Centre for Work and Income - CWI), the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation (EL&I), the national centres of expertise on vocational education, training and the labour market represented by their association COLO, Randstad Nederland and the Council for Work and Income (RWI). read more in Dutch >> ReflexROA is coordinator of the REFLEX project, a large-scale European survey among higher education graduates. The REFLEX project is financed as a Specific Targeted Research Project (STREP) of the European Union’s Sixth Framework Programme. The project involves partners from fifteen countries (Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain and the UK plus Belgium-Flanders, Czech Republic, Portugal, Switzerland, Japan and Estonia that have received funding from national sources). A parallel project using large parts of the REFLEX methodology is being undertaken in Russia and Latin America (Mexico, Colombia). read more >> School-leaver surveysSince the early nineties the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) has conducted research among recent school-leavers in most sectors of education in the Netherlands. The surveys among different groups of school-leavers have been strongly standardized, and the resulting data has been integrated into a single School-leavers Information System (SIS). This system is designed to function as a monitoring instrument for the transition from school to work, covering the full breadth of the Dutch education system. ROA bears the responsibility for the design, implementation and management of SIS. The field work for the various surveys is conducted by DESAN Research Solutions in Amsterdam. read more >> SBAROA carries out the Labour Market Monitor for the Dutch pharmacy branch since 2001. This project is financed by SBA (Stichting Bedrijfsfonds Apotheken). The monitor consists of repeated biennial surveys among employers (pharmacists) and employees (pharmacy assistants and other employees) in the branch. The monitor provides information on recent development in labour market related issues in the pharmacy sector. It covers themes such as vacancies and turnover, HRM policy, competence development and schooling, pay levels, working hours, job satisfaction, and job content. A key feature of the data gathered for the monitor is that it has a longitudinal character: the surveys among employers and employees can be matched over time. Moreover, the surveys among pharmacists and pharmacy workers can be matched to one another thereby creating matched employer-employee data.
